The Manjulam Malayalam program, conducted by Malayala Vidyalayam, is designed to be beneficial for anyone who wishes to learn Malayalam, regardless of age. It is especially helpful for expatriates and their children who, due to various circumstances, have had to settle outside Kerala.

Manjulam Malayalam offers two levels of courses: the Basic Course and the Advanced Course. The Basic Course consists of 33 days of classes, along with 3 live sessions. The Advanced Course includes 30 classes. Those who complete the Basic Course or have acquired equivalent language proficiency through other means can enroll in the Advanced Course.

The Basic Course covers the Malayalam alphabet, basic reading and writing skills, as well as the ability to read and write short stories, poems, and articles.

While the Basic Course focuses on fundamental reading and writing skills, the Advanced Course delves deeper into comprehension and expression. It includes advanced reading and writing exercises, along with essential grammar, literary appreciation, critiques, essays, speeches, and discussions.

Online learning has become a significant part of education today, even for children attending physical schools. Doubts and queries will be addressed through WhatsApp and live online sessions, ensuring personalized mentoring. Each learner will receive individual support as needed throughout the program.

Currently, the fee for the Basic Course is set at ₹3000, and the Advanced Course is priced at ₹4000. However, there may be significant variations in fees depending on location and timing.

Malayala Vidyalayam was founded by two Malayalam teachers from Kerala—Deveshan Peroor and Babu P K. It is purely an online platform dedicated to learning Malayalam and is not affiliated with any university or similar institution. Both founders have over 25 years of teaching experience in Malayalam language education.
